Safety during the event

WILD HOGGS MOTORCYCLE RIDE FOR MS

GENERAL CONDITIONS 
  1. Provisions of the Road Transport Legislation to be strictly observed at all times. 
  2. Any person participating in, organising or supporting participants, or in any other manner connected with the event, must obey any reasonable directions given by a member of the NSW Police Force.  
  3. A member of the New South Wales Police Force has the authority to delay, halt or cancel the event at any stage in the interests of road safety or the safety of the community.    
  4. Any directions issued by the Roads and Maritime Services must be promptly obeyed. 
  5. The event is to be conducted in accordance with the timing and route supplied and approved by Police. 
  6. The event is to be conducted within the nominated dates approved by Police.  
  7. All motorcycles and vehicles associated with the event must be currently registered or hold a current permit and comply with the requirements of the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration Act) 1997, as to road worthiness. 
  8. Permission of the relevant Local Government Authorities and Sydney Olympic Park Authority must be obtained and any conditions (where applicable) be adhered to. 
Any breach of these conditions may result in the event being halted by the NSW Police. 

PARTICIPANTS 
  1. Participants shall register with officials prior to the commencement of the cruise and provide details of motorcycles ridden, registration numbers, name of registered owner, and identity of driver during the cruise. 
  2. Departure of participants is to be staged in small groups of about 50 at timed intervals of at least five minutes. 
  3. Participants are to obey traffic lights and comply with “STOP” and “GIVE WAY” signs during the event. 
  4. There is to be NO lead or rear vehicles in each of the cruise groups. 
  5. Participants must travel at the normal speed of other traffic.
